Is the The apple company iPod Going to Last or Burn Out Like the The apple company Macintosh?

Today the The apple company iPod is leading the market in mp3 gamer market, having sold around 15 million iPods since they were released. But some people are now saying like the The apple company Apple once an leader in the market the iPod will also become a storage.
Looking to the near future at the main competition for the The apple company iPod are the new age cell mobile phones. Not only do they have the normal features of a cell cellphone but they’re also adopting a greater standard of photographic electronic camera and a built in MP3 gamer. Unless The apple company decides to bring the iPod into the cell cellphone market, we may see them move to the back of the shelf at ebay.

Below are an example of some already available cell mobile phones that incorporate the greater standard photographic electronic camera and MP3 player:

• Motorola MPx220

• Siemens SX1

• Sony models Ericsson P910i

• Sony models Ericsson W800i

Looking at the Sony models Ericsson W800i, this cell cellphone offers a 2 mega pixel photographic electronic camera with videos capability. Also a built in MP3 gamer and the cellphone comes with a 512mb Memory Stick™ PRO Duo. This maybe only capable of holding around 150 songs tracks or 10-15 full length CDs. You can upgrade the thumb drive to 1GB doubling the storage space potential.

Obviously the Sony models Ericsson W800i does not have the storage space potential of a 60GB iPod movie, but looking at the technology trends everything is getting smaller with greater storage space potential.

Once cell mobile phones have a greater storage space limit (60GB) they will also have the capability of playing MP4. Then your every day cell cellphone will be a Phone, Camera, MP3 mp3 gamer and an MP4 movie gamer which fits in your pocket
